Believe it or not...NO! (It's a miracle!) I have a new name for this, I'm just not revealing it until the font gets released.
Lovely day. Lettered some Minor Threats this morning. Now I'm kerning a font. Listening to King's X in the studio.
I've done that before. The problem in this case, is I think it's different enough to not be a direct callback to the original.
The original font and this new version share the theme of "organic computer". Somewhere between human and mech. Hand-lettered penmanship with shapes that are somewhat INhuman. The new font is already finished. Reg, Ital, Bold, BoldItal, barred-I correction & more. Coming soon.

Lovely day. I'm working on an unusual font project. I designed a font years ago that I like, but I find it's not legible enough to be useful. So I'm designing a new font based on that font. Debating whether to come up with a completely new name, or a new variation of the old name.
