As someone who keeps dancing around the edges of being an artist and even doing a bit of art history in my teens, David Hockney's passing hits real hard. As an aspiring artist, as a Yorkshireman, and as someone who does art on tablets, which Hockney himself became a proponent of in his later years.
There is no stock price that justifies the continued existence of these companies
