Found a bit of water in a bog at the side of the track at Morden Bog and spotted a few odonata +.one 4 spot chaser 1 female banded demoiselle, note the colour change according to direction of light ,2 Azure damselflies, also a Blue tip & a pair of Large Reds no pics
Good to see my garden Robin finding worms in between my offerings .Very keen on kibbled peanut hearts 💚

After struggling walking the distance to see Redstarts at Morden Bog , all I can say is I did see one briefly . 🤷♀️

I've never seen a Whitethroat on the Springdale section of Upton Heath and this one did its best to avoid being photographed 😅

These frilly poppies are all over my garden, I didn't plant them but I love them. I tried a dreamy image with vaseline on a filter but more practice needed me thinks. 😅

I think these Red wood ants have found a Devils Coach Horse beetle ,and need plenty of help to drag it back to their nest .I almost stepped on it as it was on the track at Morden Bog

While listening to a Firecrest and hoping to see it, I kept finding things floating down from on high. I looked up to see the culprit eating a fir cone high up in a thin pine tree.
