My actual writing goal this year is to completely move everything off of Google Drive and organize all my old writing so it doesn't get lost lol
Been an oddly huge amount of scam comments this time around on multiple sites compared to when I usually post chapters. No clue why but it keeps trolling me with the notifications 😭
Re-discovered a short little romance story set in Corvus I haven't posted yet so that'll be this week's post along with another chapter for Morgan's story ^^
Not been as much writing lately but definitely a bunch of editing!
...yes I have thought too much about a singular character from a one-shot I wrote a couple years ago and have never done a sequel to.
Alexandra's story goes from being a princess to an exile missing one of her eyes, and it can be perfectly traced back to Those Coldest Times. Even her grandparents weren't alive for it though. But the link is still there, and she's never taken a moment to realize it/consider how to feel about it.

Morgan is Electric / Flying. Intentionally discordant picks, but the floaty-ness and the sudden impact both feel right for their personality/music!
Circe maybe just pure Steel? Kind of that unassailable, untouchable feeling with her.
Oh Morgan would be *so* much better at taking care of a child vs taking care of themself. They have "cooler older sibling that can be serious when it matters" energy and also took care of their younger sister as a kid growing up so they have the practice.
Today's WIP post (which is very big Morgan spoilers) was something I wrote last week, and re-reading through it made me feel a lot better about my writing lately/more motivated to get back into it again.
There's also been a lot of kind words about their story so far which has been really nice ;;
More of a worldbuild-y answer but-
Something I really want to explore more with Corvus is how much the memory of trauma distorts/history changes once the people alive to tell it firsthand are gone. How do the characters in the world today perceive this world-shaping tragedy in their own minds?
Wednesday (slightly late) story updates! New romantic/angsty short story in Corvus today about a noblewoman and her unexpected suitor, and the next chapter of Morgan's story as they try to recover from an unexpected reappearance during the show.
