Using a 5-6x revenue multiple, Elon Musk could buy Xbox toss it in the ocean, destroy 20,000 jobs and still have $900 billion left. This is no exaggeration. Yes, I want you to hate.
No money is willing to invest in games right now. It's too risky, the market is oversaturated. All capital is going towards AI and other (supposedly) higher-yield opportunities. We're still looking at a huge amount of studio closures in the near future I'm afraid.
Xbox should just sell the business to Valve.
