Unexpected book joy is when you forget you preordered a new release and it arrives in the post. This might skip to the front of the TBR pile.
All the while exploring grief and death and how do we redefine ourselves after a death. I think many my age would parallels to aspects of their life as the theme of an aging parent features in flash back. We worry about their future and the inevitable goodbye but what if we go first?
It has also prompted me to search out some other books. Particularly John Fraser’s autobiography for the Scottish connection and that Logopolis is go to comfort view. While that is on order I have started my next book. Elena Knows by Claudia Piñeiro.
