I'm growing uncomfortable with the phrase 'my book(s)'. Is there any way to make it sound less... pushy and, em, boastful? How about 'the book I've just published' or 'the volumes I've authored'? Or something? 😜 I've myself have published books, but feel embarrassed to be talking of 'my book(s)'.
Important lesson: a self-confident, empowered woman is NOT a man, though some men may feel threatened by her force.
