My pond consists of two pond forms. One cracked and is empty, but it has a few inches of rainwater. While I was cleaning the other pond, this dragonfly stopped by to lay eggs in the empty pond form. Its wings got wet and couldn't fly. I offered it a stick and it climbed on. It dried off & flew away.
🌱 Enjoying the blooms of water lilies, listening to frogs, and seeing dragonflies return to the neighborhood are the top three reasons I am grateful to have a pond. It's also fun when neighbors walk by and ask if the frogs are real. 😂 They are. #bloomscrolling #garden #Zone8b

🌱 My 'Rosa Gallica officinalis' is blooming. This rose is considered to be the oldest rose in commerce. It was grown as the apothecary rose. It was also the symbol of the house of Lancaster during the Wars of the Roses. I keep mine in a tub because this rose sends out suckers. #bloomscrolling

We had a fun evening enjoying the performing art of Circque Italia Water Circus near Seattle. The performers are incredibly talented and did many dangerous stunts. The show is moving to Olympia, WA next. Every seat seemed like it would be a good seat inside the arena of this traveling circus.

🌱 My 'Fourth of July' climbing rose is blooming spectacularly on an 85 °F (29.44 °C) day. Haven't been outside much due to the heat, and am grateful we will cool back down the next few days (66 °F forecasted for tomorrow). I look forward to getting back out into the #garden. #bloomscrolling
