I think I inadvertently stole a bag of chips via self check. I presented my credit card as instructed, but didn't wait for my sole item receipt. Wheels locked on my cart while going thru the door. But, of course, no real person at the door, so I just grabbed a different cart and left.
So - what is the deal with Lays, anyway - I bought a bag of Lays potato chips on Monday and there was this banner in red across the bag that said, "Made with Real Potatoes". My first thought was what the heck were they using before? SMH

And it apparently is porous granite by design, so that some water is always leaching out and then replaced by fresh, chlorinated municipal water or rainwater. A pretty low maintenance system. Something sealed and painted then filled with water requires daily maintenance. Like a swimming pool.

Yeah - the horror of slavery was really brought home to me when I saw a bill of sale for a six year old girl at a museum. I somehow had never known they sold off children. I felt like crying and throwing up at the same time.
