I don’t think it helps that Mando and Grogu aren’t actually characters in any real sense. They’re action figures. Brand mascots. Pedro Pascal gets maybe 5 minutes of screen time and his big character arc is “Won’t let kid press buttons” then “Let’s kid press buttons.”
Finally watched THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU. It’s…fine! It’s inoffensive, and occasionally engaging, but it’s remarkable to me that after 7 years Disney decided this was the movie that should bring STAR WARS back to theaters. A multi-million dollar shrug.
