The Workrate Hockey newsletter is BACK, baby. We go over the path the Canes took to get the Cup, how “easy” it was, make “In Living Color” references, and sing along to Alter Bridge’s “Metalingus”. Subscribe for free! workrate-hockey.ghost.io/workrate-hoc...

The most Carolina Hurricanes thing ever
this made me tear up I said this to someone earlier: I loved the Canes before, but the reason I still love them today isn’t because of anything on the ice — it’s because of the fandom thank you for the fun we shared when the hockey wasn’t fun it makes things like last night much more poignant
I should probably start doing these again.

We watched a lot of dogshit hockey. Actually, no, dogshit would have been fun and turned into draft picks. We watched a lot of the most blindingly below-average hockey: Too bad to make the playoffs, too good to get a good draft pick.
