Active travel remains the most common way for pupils to get to school in Scotland, although walking rates have fallen again this year.

The group recently received new junior and adult litter pickers and handi-carts through our Love Your Network fund in Scotland.

Community groups across Scotland are helping care for their local, traffic-free routes on the National Cycle Network🌿
The West Lothian Litter Pickers are a group of committed children and adults who meet regularly throughout the year to maintain their local area and look after NCN 75.

Since then, they’ve been meeting weekly to remove huge amounts of litter and help maintain their local area.
Volunteer lead John recently organised a local clean-up where more than 40 bags of waste were collected 👏
