I'm not a professor, but something similar recently happened to me.
A conference abstract I did write was entirely rephrased and assigned a full reference, including DOI, pages, and the name of a real journal. On journal website, which is from a different field btw, my "article" is or course absent.
As a #MuseumNerd, I've always wanted to share my thoughts and impressions about an exhibition by writing a review. I just never had the guts to do it... until now! Very excited to share this piece published with @plantperspectives.bsky.social about am exciting exhibition on botanical #sci-fi 🌱📚🧪
