The game is a collaboration between ZUN and multiple circles. This collaboration has been given its own name "Shanghai Alice Reprise". Apparently a bunch of circles asked ZUN for permission to remake EoSD (it's unplayable in modern OS without modifications) and ZUN said yes.

First of all, the game will be released globally on Steam and officially translated into multiple languages. Not sure if the Switch/PS5 version is also releasing globally.
