We welcomed @johannarickne.bsky.social alongside @sotonecon.bsky.social last week to discuss how people differentiate and understand stories of sexual harassment. In a large scale study in Norway, Rickne and coauthors find that the story matters in how people “accept” and “reject” information.
Delighted to support ‘A New Woman Leader?’ A workshop convened by @jennpiscopo.bsky.social and our own @jess-smith.bsky.social. Today, Dr Smith presented a systematic review of voter bias towards women candidates, sparking discussion on gender, leadership and political representation.
