I like big bones 🦴 Futalognkosaurus. It was a giant titanosaur sauropod. It lived in Argentina during the Late Cretaceous. It was described back in 2007 and at the time was the most complete giant sauropod fossil ever found. The holotype has a length of about 24 meters (79ft). 👇👇
Although it has an estimated maximum length of 30 meters (98ft). Although its hard to say exactly how long it was as most of its tail was missing. But it’s pelvis alone measured almost 3 meters (10ft) across. So when I say it was giant, I mean it was a giant. 👇👇
The holotype was also found near a river and its hypothesized that it was washed into the river at the time of its death. The carcass was so large that for a time, it probably housed fish and bivalves (clams, mussels, oysters, etc) to live in it. The circle of life and all that 🦕
