Conference growth is crazy. The increase in CVPR submissions from 2025 to 2026 is roughly the same as the growth in 2026 alone from ACL (Oct+Jan) to EMNLP (May)

As an ACL PC, I already proposed some trimming and updating some of it (docs.google.com/document/d/1...) which led to changes to the checklist for the Jan26 cycle.

I'm on a new committee reviewing ARR's Responsible NLP Checklist and looking to potentially make changes. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on what is working well or needs revised, especially given it might be fresh in memory from the recent ARR cycle. 1/
