Deep dive for yellow week for #ShowMeYourKnits. Not a color I normally use but the very *first* thing I made when I learn to knit (1994) is this cotton sweater. I used the same yarn to weave fabric and made this skirt to match the sweater. (headed to the donation box. doesn’t fit now) see ALT text
#ShowMeYourKnits is travel knits, game-watching, coffee-having projects. Perfect for Knit in Public Day! Since I finished my cashmere Musselburgh, I’ve been working on my Anthology Throw. My Urchin Musselburgh is in my purse - doc appts and car repair knitting. Cast on a DK Musselburgh today.
#ShowMeYourKnits is STRIPES this week. i don’t always enjoy carrying yarns for knitting stripes but self-striping yarn is fun to knit!
Musselburgh Hat with yarn from @makerwool.bsky.social
All the Angles shawl
Habitation Throw baby blanket
Enjoying seeing everyones projects!
Happy to be making some progress on my Musselburgh Hat (designer: @ysoldaknits.bsky.social). Charcoal yarn is BFL/silk dyed by me. Purple yarn is Miss Babs Sojourn (cashmere/silk).
Made another Dip3b bag. This one uses some of my mom’s handspun yarn. This will be a gift for her cousin who is also a knitter. I had planned to give one of the bags I already made to her for her birthday but I know she will like this handspun one. 🧶
May 4 is always about Kent State for me. I didn’t see much mention of it yesterday. Glad to see this today.

🏒Good to have @monstershockey.bsky.social Cleveland Monsters playoff games on TV! #FearTheDepths
@buckeyemama.bsky.social Terri, was that a ’Hello’ to you from Kenny on Fox8 this morning when he was highlighting the Downtown Cleveland events?
#ShowMeYourKnits is WIPs this week. I’m making some progress on my cashmere-silk 🧶 Musselburgh hat. Some former WIPSs, recently completed - another Dip3b bag and also did the bear-inspired gnome MKAL. A fun knit and I have no idea what I’ll do with it! But whimsy is good sometimes.
Finished knitting a Musselburgh Hat (designer @ysoldaknits.bsky.social). Purple yarn is cashmere/silk Miss Babs Sojourn, 2018 Rhinebeck colorway. The charcoal yarn is BFL/silk dyed by me. Should have knit about 2 more rows of charcoal. Unsurprisingly, the cashmere stretched a bit more than the BFL.
