I seriously hope that the US will find other ways to take care of its affected citizens without exporting the risks anywhere else, especially when their foreign policies towards those countries have been so bad. Isolationism has a cost!
FIFA tells the world football is neutral and apolitical.
Iran's fan ticket allocation has just been revoked by the USA just days before the #WorldCup

US Ebola quarantine center in Kenya: I am puzzled by the Trump Administration. (1) It called those States “s**t country”. (2) It banned their citizens from entering the US or make it difficult for them to get a visa. (3) Then it wants them to host US citizens when they have been exposed to ebola.
The visa story is the most telling controversy this World Cup has had

It is surprising that the Kenyan Government agreed to such a facility. Luckily, the civil society was quick to seize the court, and for the court to have ordered a suspension (Order of 28 May 2026: katibainstitute.org/wp-content/u...).
