He said there was very little chance he could do anything since the kitten was way too far gone. I was researching which airlines let us fly with cats domestically before the vet told us that.
We had to put him down and then take a taxi to a cremation facility... We cried all the way there.

Today I saw a sea turtle and had to put down a straight kitten. I did not ever imagine my first vacation day go like that.
Found the little guy on the road panting, we thought he was just overheating. The vet said it was brain damage and he was clearly out there for way too long.
I am so sorry little guy. The vet said we got him before the worst pain happened. He said once he stars convulsing it's the worst and he was still peaceful. So at least I'm grateful we got there before the suffering started.
Girlfriend named him Gaki because we're on Ishigaki island.
