Grappling with the possibilities of a critical DH with a colonial primary source in this keynote with @globaldhsymposium.bsky.social Thank you for this recording, my audience of students-cothinkers, and the space for feminist, postcolonial everyday actions for critical work. youtu.be/JgUt32rMs0E?...

All this is to say that navigating the DH AI frenemies conversation is a collective effort! And there’s got to be something grounded in critical (world)making ethos that isn’t so tech solutionist and grounded in the systemic realities of higher ed/ postcolonial feminist computing
Is there a community of DH folks who are hanging out in the space of transformers, GOFAI, and knowledge graphs, minimal computing who want to make things together? What happened to interpretable ai and slow research design?
