BA.3.2 taking over in Japan—similar to trends in Spain, Italy, & a few others. Other countries/continents (China, S America) seem virtually untouched by BA.3.2. Very unusual compared to previous successful saltation variants. Hard to decipher the underlying cause of these geographic differences.
