Can we just de-shame leaving any job or industry? I’m wanting to make a complete career change and there’s so much nonsense and it’s framed as failure and I don’t see it that way at all. The world changed, and my life changed, and I changed. Even if it was just a whim, I don’t see the problem???
I'm starting to wonder if it's a throwback to a time when bosses wanted you to lock in forever, or a manipulation to make you put up with toxic workplace behaviour. Any time I'm confused by a societal norm that doesn't make any sense I've started trying to work out how it benefits rich people
