Can we just de-shame leaving any job or industry? I’m wanting to make a complete career change and there’s so much nonsense and it’s framed as failure and I don’t see it that way at all. The world changed, and my life changed, and I changed. Even if it was just a whim, I don’t see the problem???

I will say this much: there is zero shame in leaving the game industry. Be it because you're not finding your next role, or because you're tired of it and need a break. The industry doesn't deserve the people who work in it, and you owe it nothing.
