I very rarely dip my toe into Star Wars commentary, because it’s down at like #6 or #7 on my list of favorite sci-fi franchises and just not that important to me aside from my massive appreciation and love for the VFX artistry in all the films. But I agree with almost everything in this thread:

I don’t think people are talking enough about how fantastic Li Jun Li is in Spider Noir. A perfect noir femme fatale. Right up there with the best of them. Fantastic chemistry with Nic Cage. She’s not going to get an Emmy nom because it’s a comic book show, but she should.
In fact the entire cast is phenomenal. Excellent choices doing fantastic work all around. Except maybe electro guy who was so over the top campy he felt like a castaway from Legends of Tomorrow. Everything else felt grounded in reality but he was acting for a completely different show.
There's s path conservative performers take when their careers cool off. You know the guys - Temu Hercules, Chachi, that guy from SNL nobody thinks is funny. They can't accept that most actors will have one or two shows tops before the phone stops ringing. So they blame 'woke' instead of their age.
There is currently a TV show about a student who has a baby with her professor and becomes an OnlyFans model who compares subscribers penises to Pokémon. She lives with her recovering addict pro wrestler father and a girl who is into cosplay. Rain Wilson is just making excuses for a faltering career
