Both. OpenAI pays lip service to supporting MCP but in reality, they want to create their own integration ecosystem. It’s an asinine stance but predictable. Claude tools work better and companies that previously abstracted APIs have a real path using MCP to build reliable experiences in chat/agents.
After a disappointing experience with ChatGPT connectors, and trying the very annoying developer mode in the desktop tool, I signed for this free Composio account, put their MCP server into Claude, and it is really awesome. Integrated Outlook (MS 365), OneDrive easily: composio.dev
ollama.com/blog/mlx Catching up with LMStudio on this aspect but it's all moving in the right direction!
This was a lovely read - connected with Kat’s thoughts on many a point but 2 things in particular: the fact that AT protocol is still an important idea that is inspiring in its potential; and her suggestions on how to make the conf and community more welcoming.
😆😅ouch, that hits hard!
Thank you for writing and sharing such a thoughtful piece! LLAP.
All the top models perform fast, handle complexity in input so it's always about quality of output. Sometimes, the model just consumed tokens trying to fix something in a loop and failing - fine-tuned coding models like Composer seem to handle many coding scenarios so much better.

New design is up for my blog! I'm a big Tron dork as you can tell from the site's theme 😁 #personalblog #robotmunki #ai #llm #ml #softwareengineering
Updating my AI coding stack post from more than a year ago. Notably I no longer route day-to-day work through OpenAI models; I only reach for them occasionally when I want a different angle. It's mostly Cursor Composer 2 plus Claude Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6 www.robotmunki.com/blog/ai-codi...

Wrote about my experience at #ATmosphereConf as a first-time attendee - If you're considering whether you should attend in the future, I hope this blog helps!
