The most toxic, anti-human thing about social media is the way it shoves everyone into a single place with everyone else all the time. We’re just not built for that. We’re built for a community context. That’s the thing that’s been missing all this time.
I know there are tools out there to delete posts, which would solve the problem, but I don’t really want to delete my posts. I like having an archive of things I was thinking about. I just don’t want to keep talking about all of those thoughts with strangers after a week.
