Very unusually I have written something, a piece about becoming German and celebrating a school being named after my great-grandmother- it was less triumphant than I had envisioned.
We shared this last IWD - the road as long, the strong man politics defeating us. However! I had to change the music (boring license reasons) but it meant that 11 year old Rita and her dad Tristan created this original track for us and it's so beautiful- hope in the voice in the next generation.
