something very charming about bilinear filtered (blurry) extremely low resolution textures, especially for organic textures like metal, rust, little details, etc. maybe it's just my fondness for old PC games and the N64 but I love it.

not my usual approach as I'm more of a "hand paint and then compress + post-process" guy, but I have been enjoying dabbling a bit with pixel art textures ala megaman legends

I been hush-hush about this game because it's gone through a few versions/visions, but I finally feel it coming together and see a path toward finishing it (lots of work left, obviously). definitely will be posting more concrete stuff about it asap when it feels like a good time to do so.
