This level of stupidity is beyond astounding, but its not an excuse & I hope he is charged with a hate crime. Intention doesn't negate impact. He clearly has no understanding of the harm he did, he's trying to explain and justify it to a reporter. Maybe a trial/judge/consequences will educate him?
