this is the main crux. i know i shouldn't be letting dumb youtube comments and bizarre emails get to me. but the sheer level of anti-intellectualism & misogyny feels worse than ever right now and idk how to proceed anymore at all. i long for a better world with a better internet.
analyzing texts & deconstructing rhetoric is my job. lately i can't even analyze media made explicitly by and for the MAGA crowd without being accused of making a big deal over nothing. i guess people will take any excuse to say that a woman is overreacting hysterically or thinking too much.
