Update at 12:26pm - based on an estimated restoration time of 5pm, the Museum of Natural History will be closed for the rest of the day on Monday, June 8th.
Barren ecosystems are not appreciated like other unique ecosystems around the province. The primary threat to the Rockrose is human activity, highways expansions, new residential and/or commercial development, and sand quarries.
