One of my favorite artists of the 70s, I love "Down by the Sea", seeking peace. And...dammit...the song that had a video with Ringo Starr, I think Harry was creeping around dressed like a wizard...google's no help. Delightful insanity.

As always, this is excellent. So glad to see the anti-Lola callout (yet it is supposed to be positive?) and the tunes on here familiar to olds like me (Arnold Layne, I'm a Boy, Walk on the Wild Side.) I recall being an innocent youth (lol) and thinking Ten Years After's I'd Love to Change the World

I review Olivia Rodrigo and Vince Staples' latest albums. In "Cigarette Smoke" and "The Cure' she's written her best ballads. Meanwhile Staples can stand a sonic shake-up, despite the guitars a-rumble. wp.me/pzXeC-lq6
