From morning research discussions to afternoon insights into the Scottish context, and a closing conversation on ethical, non-extractive research, every voice shaped a meaningful day.
Grateful for the generous support from @britishgerontology.bsky.social and @ethnicityuk.bsky.social
When fellow ECRs engage deeply with an event you've organised, it’s a reminder of how powerful collective dialogue can be.
The Inclusive Ageing event brought together researchers, community voices, and cross-sectoral perspectives to reflect on ageing in ethnic minority and immigrant communities.
Joint work with @drmengxing.bsky.social and @anne-goujon.bsky.social just been published in Sociology of Health & Illness rb.gy/jyqj8j It started as @iiasa.ac.at #YSSP and resulted in a very nice publication on #loneliness trajectories of #older adults. Perfect time prior to Christmas!
Event: Join community members, organisations & researchers to explore challenges & opportunities in ethnic minority ageing in Scotland
