In the South Bronx, about 40% of residents lack broadband access at home. That is why I partnered with the Mayor, HPD, and NYPL to secure $2 million in federal funding to bring free broadband to the Bronx.
Our $2 million investment will save 2,000 Bronx families nearly $1.7 million per year.
