Medieval city centres are nice and all, but they don’t feel relatable to lots of people in North America.
I want to see more stories and examples from European suburbs like this.
Oh The Urbanity!
Today I explored Hellerup, a Copenhagen suburb, and took the long way back to the city. I saw lots of examples of neighborhoods with single family homes and wide arterial roads that wouldn't be out of place in the US. All of them still had ample bike infrastructure that made the trip safe and easy.
