In Britain, a country with a population nearly twice that of California, elections are resolved in under 18 hours with a very low rate of fraud and no gerrymandering
This person downplays European comparisons for high-speed rail in Canada by saying that “Europe built their railways long ago … it’s like they’ve always been there”. Fun fact: the largest high-speed rail network in Europe is in Spain. They opened their first line in... 1992.
If there’s one thing that should define “urbanism”, beyond just liking bikes and trains and stuff? It’s having some awareness and knowledge of other countries. Or at least *trying* to.

Seriously, Alto benefits us in Quebec so much! The major population centres cut from the project (vs. the full Corridor) were all in Ontario. West of Toronto: Hamilton, Kitchener, and London total almost 2 million people. And might expect coverage.
Oh The Urbanity!
