The info that I read is that one of the terms of the donation was that it must be used for park. I would expect a lawsuit,but you never know how a corrupt TX judge might rule.
A city in Texas accepted a land donation from a family meant to be a public park, and the city turned around a sold it to a data center developer for $10M and pocketed the $$.
