The portal to the Land of Monsters has opened again in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey!
Until June 18, you get another chance to earn both the Sword of Fire and Scythe of Quakes, with the Nunchucks of Lightning and Shurikens of Ice also returning later this month.
Eight years ago today, LEGO The Incredibles released.
This was the first LEGO game to release following the 2016-2017 SAG-AFTRA Video Game Voice Actors strike, leading to several actors from the films returning to voice their characters.
Here are the patch notes for last night's update to LEGO Fortnite Odyssey:
The original idea was multiple games based around the Castle, Pirates and Space themes where players could earn characters from other themes by capturing them in multiplayer.
However, all were later merged into a single game.
The game was originally intended to feature several people involved with the films, most notably director Brad Bird, but they all ended up being cut.
Despite this, Stanley Kubrick still makes an appearance in-game: youtube.com/shorts/u454t....
The game would go on to do a similar thing with its credits, with Alan Grant digging up a Keystone from the upcoming LEGO Dimensions.
