But by all means, weaken the ZEV mandate and put Britain further behind the curve.
If you want vehicle manufacturing to continue in the UK it's EVs or bust. Otherwise you'll just end up outcompeted with Ellesmere Port and Sunderland closing down as consumers buy the cheaper option from China.
Language is ontologically significant. It doesn't just describe reality, it creates it. We are not powerless. We can always refuse to speak the language of the far-right, and we should demand that others do the same.
So call it out. Speak a different language, and make them listen.
