One detail in this fascinating BBC investigation into the Russia-instigated attack on Keir Starmer's home is the way it shows, in passing but very clearly, that Tommy Robinson is to all intents and purposes a Russian asset.

If you want vehicle manufacturing to continue in the UK it's EVs or bust. Otherwise you'll just end up outcompeted with Ellesmere Port and Sunderland closing down as consumers buy the cheaper option from China.
If you're gonna pick a group to compensate for their treatment by government why not pick one that did acrually face financial disadvantage without notice, like Plan 2 graduates? As opposed to "some people who had many years' notice but didn't open some letters"
