A beautiful afternoon at #Durotriges26, and the ground dried out pretty quickly. I was working on a small pit with some carefully arranged flints over a.... find out tomorrow.
I am still very happy! It was amazing to lift one large chunk of pot (albeit in several pieces) and find another one underneath, and another underneath that.
Our trench at #Durotriges26 is currently filled with Dag and Gubber
Good finds always appear right at the end of the day.
This has been reburied to protect it from tomorrow's rain. I'll just have to wait to lift this (fancy) piece of Black-burnished ware. #Durotriges26
