I'm tossing around an ARR replay in my head and planning on doing up a new early days glam for Q'linn's lore!
He completes the Carpenter 1-50 quests before ARR, so he'd have some of the master carpenter gear mixed into his starting Archer look.
The whole shards/soulmates mess is the main interaction Q’linn has with the Ancients plot lol
This will be a thread: Q’linn has met his First, Ninth and Thirteenth reflections but only Ardbert was partnered with Josie’s reflection (Lamitt) - Azem’s husband was also somebody else. 🧵
As for Q’linn personally, while I don’t believe for a second the Ancient stuff would affect his feelings on his loved ones he’s probably happier that his wife *isn’t* related to Azem’s husband. He’s an overthinker, and a small part of him would wonder if this love was fully his own otherwise.
The shard of Azem’s husband is one of his close friends, but their relationship is entirely platonic. I like the idea that while their Ancient connection may have drawn them near each other, how their relationship manifests is still entirely up to the individual.
