Totally get it. I think it's also a fact that the requirement here is that I also post the PDF versions (with the annotations/transcript of the recordings embedded) of every lecture to ensure I'm ADA compliant. Not complaining, just knowing the videos are never watched is...uggggh.
Unfortunately, this course I'm currently teaching over the summer is specifically meant to be delivered online and asynchronously, so I can't require a weekly synchronous meeting. (I do offer optional office hours, but thus far, no takers.) Something to think about for the future, though, thanks! 👍

I do like this idea. I think that it would be frowned-upon here (though I don't know for sure - although I will be checking it out at the suggestion of a couple of y'all). But, it'd be worth looking into. 👍
