Vax investment should be transparent, especially access terms. CEPI committed $50m to Moderna for Ebola, but has not published the terms. CEPI “should be judged above all by its access mission, because that is what distinguishes it from a conventional innovation fund.” Our comment in The Lancet:

Canada has never been very good at even striving to hit the 0.7% aid target, but until recently the government was at least pointed in the right direction.
(... and had a Minister of International Development).
The Canadian Government had the technology & expertise to develop a pan-filovirus vaccine (incl. #Bundibugyo) years ago but lacked the resources & political will to do so, per analysis of its own successful #Ebola💉.
