apparently there's a fucking hostage situation happening at the apartment building right next to mine.
This is still happening. I think the police might be getting a little antsy. They started using their sirens to get the suspect's attention and telling them to come to the window because they want to keep talking, and they're trying to help him, etc.
that doesn't sound like things are going well.
