I am paying $35 to travel 1 mile across the river from Philadelphia to Camden because the ferry only runs over the summer and the bridge is so high you can only access it over a half mile from the shore. Also a Lyft is almost 2x the price of a cab but there are almost no cabs anymore

I think some people don't realize that the goal of behavior modification through social shaming isn't always to make someone believe something different, sometimes it's just to stop them from behaving like a jackass in public settings.
And that's an actual victory.
Indeed, now they run robust equity informed community outreach processes that nonetheless mostly reproduce entrenched social power inequalities and reinforce historical patterns of segregation.
