There are many uncanny aspects to the decor. @nathanburgoine.bsky.social posted a good thread about it last year. The geometrical pattern on some of the carpets may be a portal to some dark realm, though.

It's brutal here. Every year there's more of them, and they move a little further north. A few years ago, they started appearing just south of me, this year they are all over my property, not just in the long grass.
