263 years ago, on the 2nd of June 1763, Chippewa warriors played a game of baaga'adowe (a forerunner of modern lacrosse) outside Fort Michilimackinac in present-day Michigan. As the British garrison watched, the Chippewa chased the ball into the fort and captured it. #otd #history 🗃️
