i realize this is objectively true but it feels like... how? how is an industry that brings in this much money crashing? where the fuck did the money go?
There's a common mythology that those with wealth and power must have "deserved" that wealth or power: they must have been smart, or good, or kind. But it's just that. A myth. They'll keep making bad decisions that make money hurting the lives of their own workers until we wrestle that axe BACK.
